What is Scar Tissue?
Scar tissue is dense , weak tissue that binds up and ties down tissues (muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves). Scar tissue will also inhibit proper joint motion.

A callous is an example of scar tissue. As you know, a callous is an area of skin which has become relatively thick and hard as a response to repeated contact or pressure. Your muscles, tendons, and ligaments will respond the same way to repeated contact or pressure.
