Chiropractic was founded on two universal principles.

Over the past 100 years it has been well documented that the moveable vertebrae of the spine can loose their normal range of motion and put
tremendous pressure on the nervous system. This lack of motion is called a misalignment or subluxation. In fact a study from the University of Colorado has shown that the weight of a dime on a nerve can reduce the function of the nerve by 60%. If the pressure is sustained for longer than three hours the nerve will begin to degenerate.

There are three ways to become subluxated.
Chriopractors use a direct pressure in a precise vector to the spine, known as an adjustment, to correct these subluxated/misaligned vertebrae, and restore normal motion. This will allow your delicate nerves to function at 100%.
In our office Dr. McGraw uses three methods to find and diagnose a subluxation.
Chiropractors are well trained in a anatomy of the body with an emphasis on the spine and nervous system.
