Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Carpal tunnel and wrist problems usually plague people that are constantly using their hands. We have successfully treated dental hygienists, carpenters, receptionists, lock smiths, bakers, and many others with this condition. Most people do not realize that besides the actually carpal tunnel pinching nerves of the wrist, this condition also involves muscles of the forearm and neck. According to the Bureau of Labor & Statistics and the National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health, only 23% of all carpal tunnel syndrome patients returned to their previous professions following surgery.

Low Back
If you have low back pain, you are not alone. It is estimated that in the United States, we will spend $50 billion each year on low back pain. As you can see by this video, lower back pain is common in sports as well. Chiropractic care is the number one treatment for lower back pain. Chiropractic care used with active release, and posture exercises yield excellent results with faster recovery times when compared to other treatments.

Plantar Fasciitis
Plantar Fasciitis occurs with bottom of the foot pain. Plantar Fasciitis is usually worse in the morning. Most often this is related to repetitive motion such as running, standing at work, or playing tennis. Plantar Fasciitis is a muscular injury, and the finding of a heel spur is not significant.

Low Back Pain (Post Surgery)
It is often a common myth (even among doctors) that once a patient has surgery he/she can no longer see a chiropractor due to scar tissue created by surgery. Active Release is a great alternative for these patients. Most receive instant pain relief and increase range of motion.

IT Band Syndrome
The Iliotibial Band is a thin fibrous muscle that runs on the outside of the leg connecting the hip to the shin. This muscle can become “stuck” to the quad and may exhibit intense knee and/or hip pain. This injury is treatable with Active Release Technique and stretching. It is commonly seen in our office in runners and triathletes.

Frozen Shoulder
Musculoskeletal disorder is associated with lack of motion in the shoulder joint. This condition is extremely painful. Usually patients that have this condition can not move their arm at all. This is a non surgical condition. We find that ART and Chiropractic Care are a quicker fix than exercise, but less invasive than manipulation under anesthesia, the other alternative.
